All right, so. Quidditch players and quidditch fans! The charity picnic is on. In two weeks from Saturday.

If there's enough people interested in playing, we'll divide the players up according to skill level. If not, we'll strive to have an even balance of professional players and people who play for fun mixed up on each team.

There's going to be several prizes available in the charity raffle - the smaller ones are t-shirts and books, and the grand prize will be a broom autographed by every single professional quidditch player involved in the event.

[ mood | drained ]

I'm dead exhausted. The Wasps' team manager was ready to throttle me for missing practice without notice the other day, but once I mentioned a good friend had gone missing and I was looking for her, a few of my teammates helped me look last night. Merlin, I don't want to even look at a broom for the next day or two. In the past two days, I've spent thirty hours flying around on one.

At least the reserve Keeper's happy. He's been wanting a chance to play all season.

If anyone knows where Kendall Bundy is, please let me know. If she's perfectly all right and just took off without telling anyone, I'm going to give her a piece of my mind. If she's not, I'm going to give anyone who made her not all right a taste of my fist. Or maybe a bludger's bat.

I had an idea that the rest of the Wasps quite liked - enough that they said I should follow through with it and bludgers will be deliberately knocked at me if I don't try to do anything about it.

So I went to see my Uncle Tiberius, and he's agreed to sponsor the event.

My idea? A family day of picnics and quidditch, with a charity raffle where the proceeds go to that fund that's paying for gravestones for the fallen war heroes. Sorry, never got the exact name of it but I think it's something that ought to be supported.

People of all different levels of skill will be welcome.

Hateful bloodist gits may bugger themselves with a rusted garden spade. Anyone who thought that the defiling of the gravestones was a perfectly acceptable thing to do is not welcome.
